In a recent session at Kilimo House, Nairobi, Dr. Ronoh chaired the Agriculture, Rural and Urban Development Sector Working Group, focusing on the Fiscal Year 2026/27 and the Medium-Term Budget Framework.

The session involved a comprehensive review of Programme Performance Reports (PPRs), assessment of baseline budget data, and adoption of a sector work plan aimed at guiding the implementation of agricultural and rural development initiatives. Dr. Ronoh emphasized the importance of aligning departmental objectives with the broader government agenda to ensure efficient resource allocation and impactful service delivery.
Advancing Digital Agriculture Initiatives
Demonstrating a commitment to innovation, Dr. Ronoh has been instrumental in advancing digital agriculture initiatives. Earlier this year, he hosted the World Bank Group for discussions on Kenya’s Digital Agriculture Roadmap, focusing on leveraging technology to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability.
