The Government of Malaysia is now accepting applications for the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Scholarship 2025. This fully funded opportunity is open to international students from developing countries who wish to pursue a Master’s degree at a Malaysian university.
Application Deadline: 18 June 2025 and the MTCP Scholarship supports postgraduate studies in any mode Coursework, Mixed Mode, or Research—for a duration of 24 to 36 months. It aims to build capacity in developing nations by equipping scholars with academic knowledge and leadership skills.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of an MTCP recipient country
- Be 45 years old or younger at the time of application
- Have a minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) or CGPA 3.00 in their undergraduate studies
- Meet English language proficiency requirements:
- IELTS score of 6.0 or above
- TOEFL iBT score of 60 or above
- OR proof of English-medium instruction in a previous degree
